America's March to Socialism: Why we're one step closer to giant missile parades

by Glenn Beck

Only on Audio!
One small step toward big government,
one giant leap toward missile parades...

"The Glenn Beck Program presents: More truth behind America's March to Socialism." So begins one of the most popular regular segments of Glenn Beck's top-rated daily radio program. Now, in this audio exclusive, unavailable in any other format, America's March To Socialism collects over an hour of the most memorable, insightful and controversial of these segments into an audio program that will inspire the ever-expanding base who know Beck from his phenomenally successful radio and television series and his #1 bestselling books.

From massive government spending to media declarations of the death of capitalism, Glenn Beck hears the sounds of boots marching America toward a system of government that bears a closer resemblance to socialism with each passing day. To document this, he focuses on stories that range from the headlines - irresponsible stimulus spending, greenhouse gas cap-and-trade programs, instant unionization efforts - to more obscure local stories that might otherwise be overlooked, such as Chicago's out-of-towners tax, and Connecticut's attempt to undermine the authority of the Catholic Church. He also provides snapshots of the encroaching progress of socialistic programs from around the world, railing against the Europeans' call for a global New Deal.

A visionary, provocative call to action, as timely and courageous as his #1 blockbuster An Inconvenient Book, America's March To Socialism presents Glenn Beck at his absolute, irreverent and authoritative best.

Highlights From Glenn Beck's Radio Show, November 19, 2009

by James R. Holland

When I put this disc into my DVD player I was disappointed that it wasn't a video but only a audio disc. I realized that I should have read the product description more carefully. That was probably because I've never heard Glenn Beck's Radio Show--although I often enjoy his Fox News Cable Show. Once I realized my own mistake, I settled back onto my sofa, closed my tired eyes and began to listen to the hour or so of highlights from Beck's radio segment series about America's March to Socialism.
As anyone who has heard either his radio program or watched his cable television show knows, Glenn Beck has a wonderful way of explaining his points in easy-to-understand language complete with either audio or visual images to help illustrate what he is saying.
This reviewer was not disappointed. Glenn has something very important to convey to the American Public. This was an excellent sampling of Beck's beliefs. I still prefer to read his books over listening to this disc simply because I like to dog-ear pages, make notes on the book's pages and be able to stop and carefully consider and maybe question some of the points he is making. It's important to me to be able to back track. It's the same reason I still like to buy a newspaper and read about a sporting event that I either listened to or watched the day before. Sometimes it's important to be able to read the actual quotes. On radio or television, sometimes outrageous statements are made and then the event goes on and it's almost impossible to examine the truth of statements without missing out on the next scene of the rapidly unfolding event. And since the material isn't written, outrageous stuff simply gets forgotten as the live media coverage moves on.
Glenn always has something worthwhile to say and even if a person doesn't share his viewpoints, he will make
even his critics stop, question and think.

A Constant Messenger, January 10, 2010

by B. Davis

Are we witnessing the death of our American ideals? Glenn Beck is continually sounding the alarm and many people are listening. Beck offers a timely message day after day and one wonders what he will tell us next. Some do not like what he's saying, but I would suggest we, at least, listen to this courageous messenger and give him a chance. This offering provides us with a simple way of hearing his warnings.

Ya Just Can't Argue With the FACTS, Folks!, August 20, 2009

by Voice Of Reason 71

Gee, where to start???

The audio clip of Obama claiming that "Jim" from Caterpillar told him right before a stimulus request speech that if the stimulus passed, he'd be able to rehire some of the folks he'd just laid off (it took all of 11 MINUTES for Jim to say "Eh, I didn't really say that ... maybe in a while, if the economy gets better ...")? Oh, and right after it passed, the same plant in East Peoria, IL laid off ANOTHER 2450 workers ... so much for what Obama said.

[Of course, Obama also said in that speech that he sees this happening to companies all across this country. God forbid.]

Or maybe when Glenn sheds light on the fact that Enterprise Rent-A-Car is fighting the City of Chicago, who wants them to charge a tax on people WHO DON'T USE THEIR RENTAL CAR IN CHICAGO. Yep - taxation without representation. In Chicago. Who'd'a thunk?

Folks, ya just can't make this stuff up.

Glenn manages to make light of our country's downward spiral into socialism - but always manages to remind us of the seriousness of the consequences.

A great CD from a truly enlightened entertainer.
